Highlighting Female Entrepreneurs at Founded
Here at Raleigh Founded, we are fortunate to have a community filled with inspiring female leaders who are making remarkable strides in their fields. From innovative entrepreneurs to dedicated mentors, these women are shaping the future of business, technology, and social impact. As March marks the beginning of Women's History Month, it’s a time to celebrate their achievements, recognize their resilience, and amplify their voices. Their leadership not only strengthens our community but also paves the way for future generations of women to break barriers and redefine success. Today, we’re highlighting some of their stories, sharing their insights, and showcasing the incredible work they do every day.
Taylor Vanden Hoek
Taylor Vanden Hoek is the Managing Partner for Atomic Object. Using her background in Experience Design to work alongside businesses, she advises companies who want to utilize technology to achieve their goals and missions and connects them with the best team to assist them in this process. With an emphasis on human-centered design and purpose-driven leadership, Taylor works to elevate company software solutions from scratch.
When asked what advice she'd give to women aspiring for leadership roles within organizations, Taylor advised for females to ask questions, such as “Are there people in leadership that want to see [me] succeed?" and “Are you happy with how [the organization's] values are used to make tough decisions?" She also wanted aspiring female leaders to know that “Leadership can be demonstrated from any job, any level. Things like adaptability, making sense of complex situations, and knowing which opportunities to take that set you up for success can help get [you] that promotion." Taylor further believes that it is crucial for female leaders to stay true to their authentic values and strengths as this will “attract the right people.”
Victoria Hofmeister
Victoria Hofmeister is the Founder and CEO of Mosaic Solutions, a company that provides support and empowerment to families when it comes to navigating the needs of their loved ones with ASD and/or developmental disabilities. As a certified special education teacher, she has used her expertise to foster a welcoming environment that embraces individuality amongst those with developmental disabilities. Not only is Victoria making a difference in the lives of families with ASD loved ones, but she's also making strides in the disability community through the promotion of equal opportunities.
Haley Huie
Haley Huie is the director of NC State's Entrepreneurship Clinic, a program through the Poole College of Management that provides NC State students with the opportunity to work alongside corporations to gain practical entrepreneurial experience and knowledge and to conduct research. As the director, Haley has worked to build a living-learning community for aspiring entrepreneurial students while being a role model for students and local innovators. Her work as an educator, entrepreneur, and consultant inspires females aspiring to be in the business field.
As we celebrate Women's History Month, the stories of Taylor Vanden Hoek, Victoria Hofmeister, and Haley Huie serve as powerful reminders of the impact that strong, purpose-driven female leaders have on our community. Their dedication, innovation, and commitment to empowering others highlight the importance of fostering inclusive spaces where women can thrive. At Raleigh Founded, we are honored to uplift and support these leaders as they continue to break barriers and inspire the next generation.
